The Concept of Measurement 

The process of obtaining a numerical value or other quantitative description of an attribute of an object or phenomenon is known as measurement.It is the process of determining something's size, amount, or degree. A scientist, for example, may use a thermometer to determine the temperature of a gas. By measuring the gas, a scientist can determine its properties. A ruler is another tool for measuring the lengths of objects. The method is analogous to measuring liquid in a container using a measuring cup.

Psychological & Physical Measurement
